The National Association of Social Workers, Iowa Chapter (NASW-IA) is pleased to announce that the Iowa Political Action for Candidate Election (Iowa PACE), the political action arm of NASW-IA, has endorsed Catelin Drey for Iowa Senate District 1 for the special election that will conclude on Tuesday, August, 26, 2025.

The committee’s decision was based on Catelin’s support for issues of concern to Iowans who need a voice of reason and compassion as well as her recognition of the role of professional social workers.  Additionally, her mother-in-law is a retired LISW.
