In person Program

Thurs. 4-9-26

Networking:  6:30 – 7:00
Panel Discussion:  7 - 8pm

CEUs:  1.0

Stress and anxiety show up differently at every stage of life — from childhood transitions to aging-related uncertainty. Join a dynamic panel of social workers as we explore how stress manifests across developmental stages, how systemic pressures influence mental health, and what practical, evidence-informed interventions actually work. This conversation will offer real-world tools, clinical insight, and space for professional reflection. Designed for social workers across practice settings, this session provides actionable strategies you can immediately apply in your work.

Goals and Objectives:

  1. Identify at least three developmental differences in how stress and anxiety present across childhood, adolescence, adulthood, and older adulthood.
  2. Identify at least three evidence-informed interventions tailored to developmental stage when addressing stress and anxiety in clinical practice.
  3. Analyze the impact of trauma, systemic stressors, and social determinants of health on anxiety presentation across diverse populations.
  4. Differentiate between normative stress responses and clinical anxiety disorders at various life stages.
